I visit Venice at least once a year for an extended weekend. To avoid the crowds of tourists, I usually stay on the Lido and enjoy the beach and trips to Venice by Vaporetto. Venice as a backdrop for weddings is a dream. To capture beautiful wedding photos away from the crowds, the ideal time is the morning light.

I get up when it's still dark, and the streets are filled with the scent of hot brioche. I take the Vaporetto across the Grand Canal in the dim light. Everything is still half asleep, and only the honking signals of the boats can be heard. A unique experience where waking up early is definitely worth it.
